In science the students had an in-house field trip with educators from the Group for the East End.  They participated in simulations and a fun cookie activity after learning about how the phases of the moon affect the tides.  In class, students are learning all about the different types of energy found in chemical reactions.  In Math, we have started learning about Integers and how we use negative numbers in the real world. We’ll dive into Absolute Value and plotting negative numbers on the coordinate plane. In Social Studies we are learning all about Ancient Greece including Greek mythology. The students enjoyed writing their own interviews with a Greek god or goddess and then shared them with the class.
