It’s hard to believe we are already in June! As we wrap up an exciting school year, our students will continue learning, exploring, and celebrating all they have accomplished. In ARC reading and writing, Students are becoming junior ethnographers as they study careers and the roles they play in our lives as a community. Students continue working on their end of unit project by researching their chosen career and making a slideshow to showcase what they have learned. In math, we are learning how to identify and partition shapes. In Social Studies, our lessons will focus on different cultures around the world and the importance of understanding and appreciating diversity. We will also learn about American symbols and their significance in our nation's history and traditions. We are excited for our upcoming field trip to the Vanderbilt Museum! This special experience will give students the opportunity to explore history, science, and culture through hands-on learning and discovery. As the school year comes to a close, we want to thank you for your continued support and partnership. We are proud of all the growth and hard work our students have shown this year and look forward to making the final weeks of second grade memorable!
