Math, Time and Money

ARC Reading and Writing, Finishing up Animal Stories and working on learning 

about jobs in our community.  Students will be researching and writing about careers they may want to pursue when they grow up.  

Science, Materials and Their Uses, Students will be learning about what everything is made of, properties, Solids, Liquids, mixing materials, and what happens when materials are heated. 

Fundations, Continuing to work on reading, writing, and marking up multi-syllabic words, various syllable types, vowel teams, and trick words in Level 2.   

Other cool happenings…The children shared their creative recycled art pieces.  They built beautiful art using recycled materials and then wrote a paragraph on how they can take care of the Earth.  Another exciting thing happening for this month is making beautiful gifts for the most beautiful ladies…the student’s moms in honor of all they do.
