Our kindergarten class has been enjoying learning about ecosystems in ELA, with a special focus on the Savanna and Rainforests. We have been exploring its features, plants, animals, and how food webs work. We also celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday by reading some of his fun stories, which helped us practice recognizing and creating rhymes. In math, students are working with teen numbers and practicing counting and adding by grouping numbers into tens and ones. Throughout the month of March, we will also be talking about changes in the weather and comparing the different conditions to the saying “in like a lion, out like a lamb.” We are also looking forward to celebrating St. Patrick's Day later this month with some fun themed activities!
