Kindergarten has been full of fun and learning lately! We just finished up working hard on special Mother’s Day crafts and gifts to show our love and appreciation for all of the wonderful moms in our lives. We’ve been working with word families to help us sound out and read new words. In reading and writing, we are learning all about the rainforest and discovering the unique plants and animals that live there. In math, we are learning to identify different 2D and 3D shapes. As Memorial Day approaches, we are learning about its significance and honoring those who have sacrificed for our country. Kindergarteners are enjoying learning about different careers while beginning to think about the many exciting things they might like to be when they grow up. Lastly, everyone is getting very excited for our upcoming field trip to the EQ firehouse!
