In math, students are learning about the relationship between decimals and fractions. Students will compare decimals, add decimals, and write amounts of money in different ways.  In social studies, students have wrapped up their unit on the Road to the Revolution. They are moving on to the next chapter in history where they will learn about the three branches of government and the U.S. Constitution. In science, students are enjoying their unit about the earth’s changing surface and how wind, water, and living things cause weathering, erosion, and deposition. In ELA, we have kicked off our U.S. states unit. Students choose a state to become an expert on and conduct research. 4th grade is looking forward to our Old Bethpage Village Restoration trip in June!
