In math, fourth graders continue to  build their geometry skills. They are learning about area, perimeter, lines and angles. This month, they will learn to identify angle measures and how to use a protractor to measure angles. In reading and writing, students are wrapping up  the mystery unit. For Women's History Month, they are reading about women who have made important contributions to society. In social studies, students continue to learn about the New York colony and its fight for independence. In science, students are using what they learned about animal adaptations and making connections to animal structures.
