First graders are eagerly awaiting the leprechaun and will be making traps in hopes of catching him when he visits our school on St. Patrick’s Day!  They are working hard building their reading muscles each and every day and will begin a new writing unit in ELA, focusing on character development.  In math, they are learning various strategies to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
