In fifth grade we have been busy getting ready for our state tests. We have been reviewing math and science topics covered throughout the year. In addition, we have started our new novel “In the Red” by Christopher Swidler and began researching planets and space tools. In math, we are working on coordinate planes. We are learning to plot points and graph data. In social studies we are learning all about westward expansion and the California Gold Rush! We are looking forward to our DARE graduation on June 2nd and want to thank Officer Vecchio and Officer Laferno for a great year in DARE!
