Kindergarteners are off to a fantastic start at EQ! A big thank-you to the PTA for an amazing Fall Frenzy. We had such a great time! During Fundations, we’re busy practicing our letters and sounds while developing early reading skills and strategies. In math, we’re focusing on writing numbers, counting, and comparing amounts to see what’s greater or less. Our fire safety unit is underway as we learn all about fire trucks and firefighters. After exploring apples, we learned about the pumpkin life cycle and had a wonderful time seeing it all in action during our field trip to Harbes Barnyard Farm. We’re also learning about bats and spiders throughout the month of October!
