The fifth graders have had an exciting month in Science studying living things and ecosystems. We even got to dissect owl pellets and take a fun trip to Wildwood State Park where we saw these organisms in their natural habitats! During ELA, the students are wrapping up their first Gordon Korman novel, Schooled, before diving into the next book in our author study. In Math, we have been working hard on place value and operations with decimals. We are looking forward to starting our next Writing unit on narratives this month.
