Third graders are strengthening their multiplication skills and developing their division skills in math.  In writing, they researched a habitat of their choice and used it to write their own narrative writing stories. In publishing their stories, students have learned editing and revising skills to make their writing better. Students have begun small reading groups to address individual power goals, strengthening their reading. In social studies, we just completed our geography unit, exploring similarities and differences using countries around the world. Third graders are also enjoying our study of environments and living things in our new science series.
