First graders are learning about generosity for the month of December.  We are looking forward to a day of festive fun during our Holiday Winter Centers!  In math, we are working on addition and subtraction up to 20, using multiple strategies including making a ten.  We are continuing to learn new Trick Words and use them in our writing.  We are beginning our nonfiction unit on wild and endangered animals.  We wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season!
