First Grade News

First grade is off to a great start!  Thank you to the parents who came to Open House; it was lovely meeting you!  Thank you to the PTA for the amazing Fall Frenzy; everyone had a great day!  In reading and writing, we have been working hard as cartographers, mapping out our place on the map, including our town, state, country, etc.  In math, we are working on different strategies for addition and subtraction up to 10.  We are looking forward to celebrating Halloween with a fun craft in our class.
